About Alleyway Theatre
Alleyway Theatre Incorporated, formerly Buffalo Theatre Collective, is a non-profit corporation founded in September 1980 by Neal Radice. The company is steadfastly dedicated to the development and production of new plays and musicals. Alleyway Theatre makes its home in a beautifully renovated 33,000 sq. ft. former bus depot in the heart of Buffalo New York's historic Theatre District. The company offers a continuous season of live stage plays and musicals in its intimate, convertible theatre each September through May, the annual productions of Buffalo Quickies (festival of one-act plays), and A Christmas Carol, plus summer programming, and special events throughout the year.  Alleyway Theatre sponsors the semiannual ten-week Playwrights Workshop which provides opportunities for area playwrights to explore and develop their skills, and the annual Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition. Audience services include First-Nighter subscription passes, discounted rates for students, Pay-What-You-Can performances, group rates, post-performance discussions with artists, and preview performances for community service organizations. Structured volunteer programs and student internships are  available. The facility also features Main Street Cabaret, a 70 seat theatre which is home to Thea♀re Plus, Alleyway's women's company, and presents other varied programming throughout the year.

Buffalo Theatre Alliance , and American Theatre Connection.
Alleyway Theatre complies with federal regulations regarding accessibility to the handicapped.
