Alleyway Theatre is a professional theatre company and collaborative incubator for bold, visceral new theatre. Education & development programs foster the talents of emergent artists from Western New York and beyond ... embracing fearlessness, theatricality, humanity, and authenticity.
Founded in 1980 by Neal Radice, the company currently occupies the 1941 former Greyhound Bus Terminal in Buffalo's historic Theatre District.
As a hub of authentic connectivity, Alleyway is where history meets innovation: a vibrant community of storytellers and theatre-makers energizing the region and challenging the status quo.
It is our responsibility to actively engage our community, launch Alleyway and WNY into the national theatre conversation, and contract artists at the top of their game to infuse the region’s landscape with new ideas and fresh perspectives.
It’s a place where audiences arrive because of its reputation, and leave transformed, inspired to consider their lives and lives of their neighbors in a new light.
