Kathleen Rooney

Kathleen returns to Alleyway having most recently played The Director in A.R.T.’s production of SHYLOCK. As a member of First Look Buffalo’s ensemble, she played Immigration Officer in OVERLAY,  Woman in THE INTERVIEW, Quinn in ONE BAR, Ms. Johnson in ELF SPACE, and participated in several staged readings. With the Brazen-Faced Varlets she had the pleasure of portraying four nasty Nazi Fraus in ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT and Donna/Shura in THE ANASTASIA TRIALS IN THE COURT OF WOMEN. Other roles include Lucy/Lucille in SCOTCH AND MADNESS at Alleyway Theatre; Mother in Post-Industrial Productions’ AFTER THE FALL; Helga ten Dorp in the Lancaster Opera House production of DEATHTRAP; and at the New Phoenix Theatre, Eve in IN THE BEGINNING and Sarah in WAY BACK WHEN. Kathleen’s training includes The Neighborhood Playhouse and HB Studio, in New York City.
